Anthropic released a new iPhone app and premium plan for businesses
On Wednesday, Anthropic released its first-ever iOS app and premium paid plans targeting various business industries including healthcare, finance, and legal. With this new iOS app, Anthropic offers Claude 3 to businesses at a rate of $30 per user per month. They can sign up for a plan with a minimum of 5 users.
As per the sources, Anthropic had taken this step with the increase in demand for Claude 3 services among businesses. Their strategy is a competition with OpenAI chatGPT as they are also offering services to businesses at the same price. “The Team plan is designed for businesses of all sizes and industries that want to give their employees access to Claude’s language understanding and generation capabilities in a controlled and trusted environment”, Anthropic.

What’s new in the Anthropic iOS app
This new iOS app will provide the features of Claude 3 in a more convenient way. Users will access Claude 3 along with upgraded Pro and Team access. This app will offer the same functionalities as the Claude 3 web version. Users can upload images of the chats and ask the app to summarise them.
“By offering the same functionality as the web version, including chat history syncing and photo upload capabilities, the iOS app aims to make Claude a convenient and integrated part of users’ daily lives, both for personal and professional use,” Scott White product lead at Anthropic, said in his interviews.
“It complements the web interface and API offerings, providing another avenue for users to engage with the AI assistant. As we continue to develop and refine our technologies, we’ll continue to explore new ways to deliver value to users across various platforms and use cases, including mobile app development and functionality”, he continued.
With this new plan, the team will offer access to the latest functionalities of Claude 3 with an increased usage limit, admin tools, and billing management, as well as a longer “context window,” for the users. A “context window” is basically responsible for the output the users will get. The larger the context window, the better will be the output.
With this longer “context window”, businesses can now have access to the “multi-step conversations” and can upload long documents like research papers and legal contracts for processing. The overall cost for this plan is $30 per user per month, the minimum number of users should be 5 to avail of this plan.
