It is quite an easy process that you can follow if you also want to blur your home or your face on Google Street View. You can blur your home with your desktop or with your browser as this feature is not supported in the Google Map application for both Android and iOS.
How to Blur My House on Google Maps?
You can prevent someone from examining the details of your home by simply requesting Google to blur the images. Below are the steps that you can follow to blur your home on Google Street View.
1. Open maps.google.com in your browser.
2. At the top right corner of the search bar, enter your home address and hit enter.
3. Now click the photo that appears below your search
4. Now you will see a street view of your location and a pop-up window in the top right corner.
5. Click on the three dots and from the menu click on “Report a Problem.” (You can also find the option just at the bottom left corner of the location, it is very tiny to see.)
Now you will be asked to adjust the preview of the image. Select the building, car, or any other object that you want to blur by adjusting your cursor. You can select any person, your home, or any other object that you don’t want to be seen in the street view. Place the desired object within the red box using your mouse.
6. Select the object you want to blur under the “Why are you reporting this image?”.
7. After selecting the object, fill in your email address in the required field.
8. Once all is done, fill in the captcha for verification and submit your request.
After submitting your request to blur your home, you will soon receive an email from the team of Google. If your request is successful the object will be blocked in a couple of days.
You can use the same method to blur your face, your vehicle, your number plate, or any other object.

Sometimes your blur request may not be approved by Google. It usually happens if you are staying in any hotel or your property is a landmark for your area. In these cases, Google can reject your request to Blur Your Home. But in most of the cases, your request will be approved by their team and you will see the effect within a couple of days.
