Google will bring keyboard shortcuts and custom mouse buttons to ChromeOS in the upcoming days

Tech giant Google is now rolling out its new ChromeOS 123 updates to its stable channel. This release included some stability and performance improvements. Google has also rolled out Google Pixel April Update for its users.
This new Google ChromeOS 123 update allows you to customize your keyboard shortcuts and mouse buttons like other operating systems. With these new keyboard shortcuts, you can now do things more quickly and can save a lot of time and effort.
Now you can customize your preferred combination of keys to perform certain operations. If You are finding the in-build keyboard shortcuts difficult to remember or are not handy to you, you can simply make your shortcut as you do with the macOS. This keyboard shortcut will solve many of your problems while doing your work. Also, it will now be easier for you to remember the keyboard shortcuts while using ChromeOS.

If we understand it more easily you can set a shortcut for taking a screenshot as search + U, or you can lock your screen using space + T. It means if you are having difficulty in using any of your favorite keyboard shortcuts, then you can create an easier one for you.
Mouse button customizations in the latest ChromeOS update
The ChromeOS 123 is not limited to keyboard shortcuts but the same goes with the mouse buttons. If you have extra buttons in your mouse despite left and right, then you can assign your favorite shortcut to it.
You can now use your mouse’s extra mouse buttons in better and more efficient ways. Once you update the latest chromeOS update then you can take screenshots simply by clicking the mouse. You don’t have to further go through the complicated process in your Chromebook.
The latest ChromeOS updates are not here. The users can now set their preferred language individually in every Android app they are using in Chrome. Previously Google has provided this facility after the launch of Android 13 on tablets and smartphones. But this is also available for Chromebook users.
To get all these updates you will need to download the latest version of ChromeOS. If you still don’t see any updates, wait for some time. Google is rolling out the updates and soon it will be available in all regions.
