Elon Musk Admits His Posts Hurt X Financially Rather than Being Good
Elon Musk, the CEO of X(formerly Twitter), has finally accepted that his post on Twitter may have financially harmed the company. On 27th March, a deposition was made public in which Musk accepted this fact and also said that he has a “limited understanding” of the lawsuit that was deposed.
Last year, 22-year-old Ben Brody sued Elon Musk and filed a lawsuit against Musk alleging that Musk had wrongfully implicated him in a conspiracy theory. He alleged that Musk had falsely put him in a conspiracy theory under which Brody was involved in a fight between two far-right groups in Oregon.
At that time, Brody asked Musk about his Twitter purchases and the impact of his posts on the company. On that musk has replied that his post had “really remained unchanged before and after the acquisition.” but he does acknowledge that he had a bad impact on the company and he thanks the company for handling that.

Elon Musk Admits Posts Hurt X Financially:
“The — and going back to the sort of self-inflicted wounds, the Kevlar shoes, I think there’s — I’ve probably done — I may have done more to financially impair the company than to help it, but certainly I — I do not guide my posts by what is financially beneficial but by what I believe is interesting or important or entertaining to the public,” said the owner of X.
The major focus of the lawsuit was the string of Twitter musk posted last summer. During that time, Musk engaged with many users who were pushing the conspiracy theory on Twitter, which was further led as a “false flag” operation.
Despite all the allegations, musk has confirmed that Brody was not meaningfully hurt He stated, “People are attacked all the time in the media, online media, social media, but it is rare that that actually has a meaningful negative impact on their life.”
During his testimony, Musk said that he was confused about the lawsuit. He also said that his intention was not to gain financial benefit from the post, rather he thought that it would be interesting or beneficial for the public.
