Openai’s Partnership With French And Spanish Media Houses

On Wednesday, OpenAI announced its partnership with some famous news publishers to increase the efficiency of ChatGPT. OpenAI has now signed an agreement with French and Spanish news houses.

OpenAI said -” In partnership with Le Monde and Prisa Media, our goal is to enable ChatGPT users around the world to connect with the news in new ways that are interactive and insightful.”

In further details, the company said that in the coming months, the users will be able to interact with ChatGPT with more relevant content from these media houses.

Louis Dreyfus, CEO of Le Monde, stated, “At the moment we are celebrating the 80th anniversary of Le Monde, this partnership with OpenAI allows us to expand our reach and uphold our commitment to providing accurate, verified, balanced news stories at scale. Collaborating with OpenAI ensures that our authoritative content can be accessed and appreciated by a broader, more diverse audience. “

“Our partnership with OpenAI is a strategic move to ensure the dissemination of reliable information to AI users, safeguarding our journalistic integrity and revenue streams in the process.”-He added.

Recently, OpenAI faced a legal dispute against the New York Times in which the media house claimed that openAI is copying their published content to train the ChatGPT model. They filed a lawsuit against Chatgpt for this.

However, OpenAI has replied to that lawsuit saying “The allegations in the Times’ complaint do not meet its famously rigorous journalistic standards,”

OpenAI Partnership with Le Monde and Prisa Media:

The legal case with the New York Times might be in the works, but now OpenAI has signed a contract with Le Monde and Prisa Media.
