Luckily one of my friends has got his hands to try the latest gadget Rabbit’s R1. Here is everything, I got to know with its first review.
Rabbit’s R1 is a little AI gadget that allows you to manage your smartphone without even connecting to any device. Rabbit has recently launched a new pocket-size retro assistant for its users. After its launch, Rabbits sold out 10,000 units in a day which cost $200 per unit. Now the company is accepting advance orders for its next batch.
“When we started building r1, we said internally that we’d be happy if we sold 500 devices on launch day,” the company posted on X. “In 24 hours, we already beat that by 20x!”
Everything about Rabbit’s R1
Rabbit R1 is the first flagship product the company has launched. Rabbit is an AI-powered company that first came into existence in 2022. This pocket-size device is based on the Large Acton Model. With the help of this model, the device will understand your instructions and will perform the actions accordingly.

Talking about the look of the new Rabbit’s R1 device, it’s a red-orange, squarish device and quite handy. The device has a Screensize of 2.88-inch touchscreen with an analog wheel on the top right. Moving ahead, there is a 360-degree rotating camera above the scrolling wheel, which is called the “Eye of Rabbit”. Users can enjoy both selfies and rear cameras. Also when the camera is not in use the camera faces up or down, a de facto privacy shutter.
Now to give commands to the “Rabbit R1”, there is a push-to-talk button on the right edge. You can press and hold the button and give your commands to the device. Along with this, the device comes with a 4G SIM slot so there is no need to connect it with other devices. You can also connect the device with a wifi network.
Will Rabbit R1 will replace the Smartphones
Well the motive of Rabbit R1 is not to replace the smartphone like Humane AI Pin. The device is designed so that it can make your task more easy to perform. Let’s suppose you want to inform your mom that you will arrive late due to traffic. You can press the button and ask the device “Send a message to my Mom, I will be late for dinner, stuck in the traffic”. Similarly, you can call a cab for yourself.
If we compare the device with a mobile phone then it comes with many limitations. You cannot watch a movie in this, not suitable for gaming and many more things. Talking about the privacy of the users, Rabbit R1 does not store any user credentials of third-party services. It is somewhat like voice Assistants SIRI and Google Assistant but
