Spotify’s introduced its latest AI feature builds playlists based on text descriptions

Spotify is now planning to launch a new AI feature for its premium subscribers. Spotify is now testing an “AI Playlist” option for its users so that they can turn their ideas into new music. However, for now, this feature is in the Beta testing phase and soon it will be available for the users.

Spotify, the Swedish music streaming has now come up with a new feature in its platform. Spotify is launching the new “AI playlist” feature firstly in two countries United Kingdom and Australia. This new feature will be available for both Android and iOS users.

The premium users of these two countries can now easily create their own music playlists by using the “AI Playlist” feature. Spotify claims that creating a playlist using this feature is as simple as you can ever imagine. Even if you are a beginner or a music expert, by using the prompt as per your need you can create your own playlist.

Whether you’re a beginner or an expert playlist creator, AI Playlist pairs our powerful personalization technology with AI to deliver that perfect musical mix, just for you.

Users who are looking to create their own playlist can use different prompts referencing places, animals, activities, movie characters, colors, and even emojis. As per Spotify, the most successful playlists are created using a combination of genres, moods, artists, or decades.

How you can create your own “AI Playlist” on Spotify:

Creating a music playlist is now as easy as you create a playlist of your favorite songs. By using the latest features of Spotify, you can now have your own music playlist. Let’s see how you can create one for yourself.

• Open the Spotify app on your phone and go to “Your Library” at the bottom of the screen.
• Now tap the “+” button at the top-right corner of the app and select “AI Playlist” from there.
• Type the prompt as per the music you want to create or you can either choose one from the suggested prompts. For example type,” sad music for painting dying flowers”.
• Wait for some time, and Spotify will offer you some tracks.
• Now you can manage the selection of songs by previewing and deleting tracks. (You can also revise your playlist by telling the “AI playlist”, what you need like “more pop”, “less upbeat” and many others).
• Once you are done with all the corrections, then tap “Create,” and your new playlist will be saved automatically in Your Library.

However, this tool is still in its Beta Phase and it cannot create results for non-music prompts like current events or specific brands. “We also have measures in place around prompts that are offensive—so please prompt responsibly!” Spotify posted in the blog.
